among government ministries and national arts
bodies: that culture policy must be linked to
environment policy.
The arts, culture and creative industries have
widely embraced environmental issues at a micro
level. But in order to take their individual efforts
to scale, governments must step in and unlock
the transformative potential of culture. In turn,
environmental policy should much better reflect the
