GRANDES CENTENÁRIOS

E do mais que nos diz a organização:

«Dear readers,

As we announced in December, we are briefly running over into 2020. Following our review in late 2019, we start the new decade with the question “what remains?”. Then in February, we will investigate “what will be?”.

First we turn to the status quo. It’s extremely lively.

There have been plenty of exhibitions in Japan, Tel Aviv, Australia and England, enriching the debate on avant-garde Modernity with new perspectives. The Hamburg hinterland also presents works by foundation-course students from the 1930s, which were long thought to be lost. We also talked about the Bauhaus to a wide range of people involved in the German cultural landscape, documenting their statements. We also asked the Bauhaus Agents to share their experiences: what have they learnt from working on the Bauhaus with children and young people? Naturally, we’ve also compiled the highlights for the coming week.

We hope you are as curious as ever!
